Creatures of the Sea Answers
1E jumping fish The fish jumping through the rescue ring is in front of the Fishhouse restaurant, Northwest corner of Front and York,
next to the Armadillo Texas Grill.
2D dolphin The dolphin was above the entrance to Strategic Value Corp., Northwest corner of Bay and Wellington.
3B 2 whales The dancing whales are near the Southeast side of York and King. “Megaptera (Great Wings)” by George Schmerholz, 1993.
4I seahorse Seahorses at the Seahorse Inn, which used to be on the Lakeshore near the South Kingsway.
5C group of fish “Homeward Bound” by Gene Drake, 1995, in the window of Far Niente bar and grill, Northeast corner Bay and Wellington.
6G swimming whales The 9 whales, snapping turtle, plus some fish and birds painted by Wyland in 1997, “Hunter,” are on the wall of the Redpath sugar plant, on Queen’s Quay, west of Jarvis.
7H sidewalk fish 41 fish (metal) in the sidewalk outside the Second Cup, Pier 6, Queens Quay and York. There are also fish and turtle shells in the walkway of the new Don Mills subway station.
8F swimming in dry pond 46 fish in a pool Southeast of the Skydome, Susan Schelle, 1991.
9A Exotic fish can be found in the Varsity cinemas, in the Manulife Centre, Southeast corner of Bay and Bloor. There were also goldfish in the lobby of the Hyland Theatre which was on Yonge Street, north of St. Clair. Please inform me of other theatres.
